Bioinformatics is a highly interdisciplinary field of Biology, relying on basic principles from Computer Sciences, Biology , Physics , Chemistry and mathematics.

Bioinformatics is a subject that involves the use of techinuqes from all the above mentioned disciplines to deal with problems of Biology , understand Biological processes and find methods and solutions with Information Technology to solve Biological problems.

This diploma course is technology based program. The students equipped with Data Base Information and right Tools would be able to apply their learning in number of areas including among others.
