The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at M.G. Science Institute on 15th August 2025. The program commenced at 8:30 a.m. in the presence of distinguished guests, faculty members, students, NSS volunteers, and NCC cadets.
The Chief Guests, Prof. Y. U. Sha and Prof. U. V. Shah, along with the Principal, graced the occasion and led the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The tricolor unfurled high in the sky, symbolizing the pride and unity of the nation.
As part of the cultural segment, three NSS volunteers and one NCC cadet presented a melodious patriotic song, which filled the atmosphere with a sense of devotion and love for the motherland. The song was well-received by all and added to the spirit of the celebration.
The event was attended by college staff and students, who actively participated and expressed their patriotic sentiments. The program concluded with an address by the Chief Guest, highlighting the significance of Independence Day and the responsibilities of youth towards nation-building.
At the end of the celebration, the Chief Guest sponsored refreshments for all NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, and students, adding a gesture of warmth and hospitality to the memorable event.
The program ended on a note of unity, pride, and commitment towards the progress of the nation.
