The Self-Financed Department of M.G. Science Institute, in collaboration with INNINGS, conducted the RISE Workshop from August 18 to August 30, 2025. Designed as a six-hour training program for each batch, the workshop was facilitated by Mr. Sanjay Joshi, CEO of INNINGS, and engaged students from B.Sc. Data Science & Analytics, B.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Microbiology, and M.Sc. Chemistry. A total of six batches participated, ensuring wide student involvement across self-financed programs.
The sessions encouraged reflection, self-discovery, and leadership, while strengthening essential life skills such as communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making. Students were guided through interactive exercises and structured reflections that enabled them to identify strengths, overcome challenges with resilience, and adopt a growth-oriented mindset. The workshop also provided practical insights on professional conduct, aligning classroom learning with industry expectations.
This initiative contributed to the holistic development of learners and supported institutional goals of enhancing employability and life skills, in line with NAAC criteria and NEP 2020 recommendations. Student feedback reflected that the sessions were interactive, motivating, and transformative in preparing them for both higher education and career progression.
