Chemistry Department, M. G. Science Institute and ACTI organized a popular lecture titled ‘Plasma chemistry and its textile applications’ on 6th September 2025. Prof P B Jhala (retired Sr Deputy Director, ATIRA), the eminent speaker; Dr Suman Patel, HOD chemistry; Dr Jatin Parikh( off. Principal), Mr Swetang Patwari, President ACTI, Mr Manoj Mehta, Secretary ACTI, Faculty of various departments and students from different institutes and departments remained present on this auspicious occasion. Prof. Jhala shared his research experience about applications of plasma chemistry in textile industry as one of the Green technology. He talked about how they generated plasma in AIR which can be very useful in textile industry to improve and even alter the properties of textile material. The talk ended with question answer session where students asked some interesting questions to solve their queries. The compilation of whole program was done by Dr Rina Shah. More than 170 participants attended this program to make the event Grand Success.
