Introduction

As a part of the national initiative “Swachhata Hi Seva 2025”, M. G. Science Institute, Ahmedabad, organized a Swachhata Pledge ceremony to create awareness and commitment towards cleanliness and hygiene. The program was conducted in the college staff parking area with the participation of both NSS volunteers and NCC cadets.

Event Highlights

• The program began with the welcome of dignitaries and a brief note on the importance of the Swachhata Abhiyan.
• Principal Dr. Jatin H. Parikh addressed the gathering, emphasizing the values of cleanliness as taught by Mahatma Gandhi.
• R. K. Patel encouraged the students and cadets to carry the message of cleanliness into their homes and society.
• Pankajkumar Parmar and Mr. Nilesh Muliya coordinated the pledge ceremony with discipline and enthusiasm.

Swachhata Pledge

Around 50 to 60 NCC cadets and NSS volunteers took the Swachhata Pledge together, promising to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings and motivate others to do the same. The pledge created a strong sense of responsibility and collective commitment among the participants.

Outcome of the Event

The Swachhata Pledge ceremony successfully instilled awareness about hygiene, discipline, and social responsibility among the cadets and volunteers. The collective participation reflected the unity and dedication of the students towards the Swachh Bharat Mission.

Conclusion

The Swachhata Pledge under Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 proved to be a meaningful initiative, reinforcing the idea that cleanliness is not just a personal duty but a social responsibility. The event ended with gratitude towards the Principal, Guests, Coordinators, and supportive staff for making the program impactful.
