 The Department of Microbiology proudly launched the third edition of its annual microbiology magazine, Microbyte – Discover the Invisibles (Vol-3), on 29th August 2025. This edition continues to serve as a vibrant platform for students to showcase research articles, creative work, and innovative ideas, reflecting the department’s dedication to academic excellence and scientific exploration. The launch was followed by an enlightening guest lecture by Dr. Nasreen Munshi, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Science, Nirma University, on the topic “Environmental Bioremediation Lab.” Her talk offered deep insights into environmental microbiology and sustainable solutions, inspiring students to explore research opportunities and innovative practices in the field.

The event concluded with appreciation for the editorial team and contributors whose hard work made this edition possible. The combination of the magazine launch and the thought-provoking lecture marked a memorable and impactful academic milestone for the department.
