A Job and Legal Awareness Camp under the National Career Service (NCS) was successfully organized by M.G. Science Institute, Ahmedabad, in collaboration with the Social Security Federation of India, on 02 February 2026. The programme aimed to create awareness among NCC cadets and students regarding Government welfare schemes, employment opportunities, career guidance, and legal rights, thereby empowering youth for
informed career planning and responsible citizenship.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome of the dignitaries, followed by an introductory address outlining the importance of career awareness, legal literacy, and government-supported employment initiatives for students and NCC cadets.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Sourabh Gupta, delivered an informative address on the National Career Service (NCS) portal, explaining its role in providing access to government-supported employment opportunities, skill development programmes, and career counseling services.
Mr. Manish Chittora, Guest of Honour, spoke on various government welfare schemes, social security initiatives, and legal awareness topics, emphasizing the importance of understanding legal rights, social responsibilities, and available legal safeguards.
Sanjanaben highlighted aspects of social empowerment and legal awareness, especially focusing on women’s rights and community responsibility.
Dr. J. H. Parikh, Principal, appreciated the initiative and emphasized the significance of such programmes in the overall academic and personal development of students.
Prof. Pankaj Parmar, ANO, highlighted the relevance of the programme for NCC cadets in line with NCC objectives of leadership, discipline, and social service.
