Report on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between MG Science Institute (MGSI) and Sandip Bhavini Research Institute (SBRI)

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between MG Science Institute (MGSI) and SBRI aims to promote academic collaboration, research, and training. It seeks to enhance education quality, research exposure, and practical experience for students, faculty, and researchers of both institutions.

The MOU focuses on joint efforts in education, research, and training through:

• Collaborative research projects and publications.
• Student supervision at B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. levels.
• Shared use of laboratories and infrastructure.
• Workshops, seminars, and technical training programs.
• Promotion of interdisciplinary research in biotechnology and related fields.

These initiatives aim to strengthen academic growth and practical learning.

Each institution has appointed a Nodal Officer to coordinate activities:

• SBRI: Vishal Nanavaty (Dean)
• MGSI: Vijaya Nadagouda

They will oversee planning, communication, and execution of all collaborative programs.

The MOU was signed on 4th October 2025 between Dr. Jatin Parikh (Officiating Principal, MGSI) and Dr. Vishal Nanavaty (SBRI). It marks a step toward enhancing research capabilities, scientific understanding, and student training.

This MOU establishes a cooperative framework between MGSI and SBRI to advance research, provide practical exposure, and strengthen institutional collaboration in science and biotechnology.
