Rank Ceremony and B-Certificate Distribution Function

Introduction :

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit of M. G. Science Institute organized a formal Rank Ceremony and B-Certificate Distribution Function on 7th August 2025, celebrating the achievements and promotion of its cadets. The ceremony marked an important moment in recognizing leadership, discipline, and dedication among the NCC cadets.

Dignitaries Present

The program was graced by respected guests from the battalion and the academic fraternity:

  • Subedar Rakesh Sir – PI Staff, 1 Gujarat Battalion NCC
  • Akaram Khan Sir – PI Staff, 1 Gujarat Battalion NCC
  • Senior Faculty Member – Department of English, M. G. Science Institute

The entire ceremony was successfully hosted and managed by the Associate NCC Officer (ANO), Lt. Pankajkumar Parmar Sir, whose dedicated efforts ensured the event’s smooth execution.

1. Rank Distribution Ceremony

A total of 19 cadets were honored with new ranks for their outstanding performance, discipline, and leadership qualities during the training year. The ranks were awarded as follows:

These promotions serve as recognition of their commitment, contribution, and potential to lead their fellow cadets.

2. B-Certificate Distribution

Alongside the rank ceremony, B-Certificates were distributed to cadets who appeared for and successfully cleared the NCC ‘B’ Certificate Examination 2024–25. The cadets were congratulated and encouraged to continue their journey toward the ‘C’ Certificate, the highest recognition within NCC at the college level.

Conclusion

The Rank Ceremony and Certificate Distribution was not only a day of celebration but also a moment of pride for the institute, the cadets, and their mentors. The encouragement and presence of PI Staff and faculty members added great value to the morale of the cadets.

The event concluded with a group photo session, filled with smiles and cheers from proud rank holders and certificate achievers.
