Brief Report:

The Self-Financed Department of M. G. Science Institute organized an educational laboratory visit for M.Sc. Semester 1 Chemistry students to Gujarat Test Lab Pvt. Ltd., an NABL & BIS-approved analytical testing facility, on September 10, 2024.

The visit provided students with industry exposure and hands-on learning of advanced analytical techniques used in pharmaceuticals, environmental analysis, and material sciences. Students were introduced to high-end laboratory instrumentation, including HPLC, GC-MS, and ICP-MS, gaining practical insights into their applications in quality control and research.

During the visit, professionals from the laboratory demonstrated best practices in laboratory operations, regulatory compliance, and data interpretation, enhancing students’ understanding of real-world scientific methodologies. This initiative aligns with the institute’s commitment to experiential learning and industry-academia collaboration, equipping students with practical competencies essential for research and professional careers.
