The Department of Data Science Analytics Conducted a session on Web Development Fundamentals, offering students a comprehensive overview of the key processes involved in designing and building modern websites. The session emphasized both theoretical concepts and practical approaches to front-end and back-end development. Students were introduced to foundational technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which are essential for creating interactive and responsive web interfaces.

The session also covered the structured phases of web development including planning, where the website’s purpose and goals are defined; designing, involving wireframes and UI mockups; and development, focusing on integrating both client-side and server-side technologies. Important aspects like testing for cross-browser compatibility, deployment to live servers, and continuous maintenance for updates and security were also highlighted.

Through this session, participants gained a solid understanding of the website development lifecycle—from conceptualization to launch and beyond.
