A Unity Rally / Unity March was successfully organized by 1 Gujarat Battalion NCC (Girls Army Wing) at Riverfront, Ahmedabad on 01 February 2026 with the objective of promoting unity, discipline, patriotism, and national integration among NCC cadets and alumni.

From M.G. Science Institute NCC Unit, a total of 14 NCC girl cadets participated in the rally as per the allotment received from the Battalion Headquarters. All cadets reported on time and attended the event in proper NCC uniform, maintaining high standards of discipline and turnout.

The rally commenced from Riverfront House and proceeded up to Sardar Bridge, with cadets marching in a well-organized and disciplined manner. The event was graced by the presence of NCC COs and the Hon’ble Additional Director General (ADG), NCC, along with other senior NCC officers and civil dignitaries, which greatly motivated the cadets.

One of the cadets from M.G. Science Institute, Cadet Harsida Bhalla, played an active and commendable role by encoring the event, thereby enhancing the spirit and enthusiasm of the Unity March. Her confident participation and leadership reflected positively on the institution and inspired fellow cadets.

The cadets of M.G. Science Institute displayed exemplary discipline, coordination, and enthusiasm throughout the rally, truly reflecting the motto of the National Cadet Corps “Unity and Discipline.” The participation of the unit contributed significantly to the overall success of the Unity Rally.

The event concluded peacefully and successfully with a strong message of national unity and collective responsibility.
