Dr. Haresh G. Patel is an Associate Professor of Zoology with 28 years of teaching experience. He earned his Ph.D. in Zoology from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, where he also completed his M.Sc. and B.Sc. His academic and research interests focus on avian ecology, wetland biodiversity and zoological studies.
Dr. Patel has contributed significantly to research, with several published papers on wetland bird diversity, avifaunal population dynamics, and breeding ecology, including:

- Breeding Performance of Black Crowned Night Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat (2018, International Research Journal of Biological Sciences) Additionally, he has authored multiple books on Zoology, including Nirav College Zoology series covering various papers in the discipline.
