Vijaya Nadagouda is a faculty member in Biochemistry Department since 08/10/1992.
She is one of the faculties who were involved in establishing Biochemistry Department which went on to become one of the renowned departments of the college. Her teaching involves Enzymology, Metabolism & its regulation, Physiology, Enzyme Biotechnology, Proteins etc.
Dr. Vijaya Nadagouda was also a part of the team which assisted in establishing & managing vocational Biotechnology course along with Biochemistry degree study from 1996.
She guided number of Gujarat university M.Sc. students for their dissertation program.
She is keenly involved with Environment education since the last almost three decades wherein she is actively involved in nature education program.
She is the founding member & chairperson of Aarohi Women’s unit, Ahmedabad, Youth association Of India (YHAI). YHAI is an NGO recognised by the Government of India and it is involved primarily through the Ministry of Youth affair & sport. As a chairperson of Aarohi unit, she is involved in organizing and conducting nature camping, trekking, birding and other nature education programs for only women participants.
As she a life member & an active volunteer in Bird Conservation Society, Gujarat (BCSG), she is associated as a volunteer in an ongoing project for preparing Bird Atlas of Ahmedabad.
She is a part of various cultural activities of the college by being a member of Music committee, Personality Committee, Disciple committee, etc.
